I am Alana Mitchell, the founder and principal coach at Career Queen Coaching & Consulting. Based in Melbourne I have over 20 years of experience working in the Recruitment industry across a wide variety of sectors and industries, I come to the table with an abundance of recruitment and employment knowledge ready to share with you.
I am a mother of 3 beautiful young children, Jack, Lacey, and Harvey. I am an animal lover, a nature and wildlife warrior, a fitness enthusiast, and a cocktail connoisseur.

My purpose on this earth is to support and care so there is empowerment. I live and breathe this purpose every day and with every one of my clients.

My story
A few years ago, when I was running a permanent recruitment division, I saw that many candidates entering the job market lacked knowledge and understanding on how to construct their resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. They also struggled with presenting themselves in interviews and navigating the recruitment process. I realised that I had a unique opportunity to coach people by sharing my insider knowledge and experience so they could become more competitive and successful in their job search.
That’s how Career Queen Coaching & Consulting was born. Since then, I have helped many people find their dream jobs and careers.
